You will notice shots of the Goodyear (Loral Air defense)
"Airdock" where the old Dirigibles were built and stored
in Akron, Ohio at KAKR. This builiding at one time was
the largest free standing structure in the world with no
internal supports.
You will also see the Wingfoot Lake Park where Goodyear
currently stores and builds blimps. It is just East
of Akron, Ohio.
We also flew over Moonbase America in Copley, Ohio. Moonbase
America in April of 1991 was a simulated Moon Colony in
which 91 people lived in it to simulate a extended mission
to the moon. I was one of those people!
